The Most Amazing Human, and Doctor, Inside and Out

Family Doctor: Dr. Veronique Ram

Dr. Veronqiue Ram is truly the most amazing human, and doctor, inside and out. She has been our family doctor since I was pregnant with my first child. My labour started typically normal, aside from being 3 weeks early. I ended up having an abrupted placenta and things progressed very fast as I started to lose a lot of blood. Dr. Ram rushed in and advised that I would need an emergency c-section and did not have time for an epidural and would need to be put under. It was very scary for my husband and I but Dr. Ram was truly a light in that moment for us. As the OR was closed up until that morning, she rallied all the doctors and nurses necessary for the c-section. It may seem a bit dramatic, but I do believe she saved my life, and more importantly, my sons as there was absolutely no time to waste and if we would’ve had to be transported elsewhere, one or even both of us would not have survived. My son and I both recovered great and aside from a small complication upon being pulled out, my son was healthy.

She takes the time to discuss any issue and is very thorough and diligent with all concerns. And you know that she cares, not only just because you’re her patient, but genuinely as a human being. Anybody would be lucky to have her as their doctor.
