She Values My Input as We Collaborate on My Medical Concerns
Family Doctor: Nhung Tran-DaviesMy doctor became my doctor because of her caring, concerned attitude. Prior to this, I had known her professionally for many years in small town rural Alberta where I worked as a pharmacist. When I abruptly had to leave the drug store I was employed at, she was concerned and asked a fellow co-worker of mine (who was a patient of hers), if she could give me her home phone number and ask me to call her. I was very touched by her compassion and I did call her to let her know I was fine. At this time as well, I was looking for a new family physician, as mine had moved. The decision was made right then and there! Dr. Nhung Tran-Davies was definitely the doctor I wanted to deal with! She values my input as we collaborate on my medical concerns. She does all the appropriate procedures, sending me for regular tests and to specialists when necessary and following up with me afterwards. Much of this has follow-up has taken place via telephone lately due to Covid-19. To say I’m very pleased with her as my family doctor, would be a real understatement. Thank you Nhung!
I would also like to take this opportunity to give two thumbs up to my sister-in-law, Lynn McCallum (Tobiasson) who is also a great doctor. She is a family doctor but for us, she is a doctor in the family.
