I Could Have Died

Family Doctor: Dr. Nirupa Srikisson

Dr. Srikisson had sent me to a cardiologist for symptoms of angina. I had testing done in Edmonton which all came back normal but with a result of a 70% block in one of my arteries on my heart. The cardiologist wrote that nothing would be investigated further but, in the letter, it said if there was a 70% block or over then more testing was needed. He obviously didn’t read what he wrote. Dr. Srikisson insisted on further tests. I was then booked for an angio where I was found to have a 90% block and required a stent!!

I am 80 years old and she never let this rest because of my age. I felt better immediately and now am back to walking without pain. She is an excellent doctor.
