Dr. Jo Ojadi – Ensuring the Best Care for My Chronic Conditions

I have been a patient of Dr. Jo Ojadi for several years. I am also a post-transplant patient in the Northern Alberta Kidney Clinic under the care of Dr. Emily Christie.

Dr. Ojadi always treats me with respect, care, and concern. Anytime anything comes up, healthwise, he is always on it right away. He found some fibroid during a pelvic exam about four years ago. He immediately referred me to an Ob/Gyn for removal. A day surgery was booked within the week and they were removed and tested. If any new medication needs arise, he always makes sure that they do not interfere with my immunosuppressants. When I was having some mental health issues, he immediately found help for me.

I recently had some irregular heart rhythms. Dr. Ojadi immediately sent me for an ECG. He called me personally when the results came back and suggested an immediate trip to the ER. During my stay at the ER, I was diagnosed with A-Fib and was referred to the Heathy Heart Institute. Again, Dr. Ojadi made sure that I was receiving the best care. I appreciate all of the things that Dr. Ojadi does to make sure that my health journey is a pleasant one. I appreciate that he works very closely with my specialists to ensure that care.
