My Family Doctor is One That People Wish For

Family Doctor: Dr. Karen Ching

My family doctor is one that people wish for… twice now I have faced an urgent medical condition that she has gone above and beyond to support me and my family through. The most recent time this happened was during the pandemic. It was a very scary time to be alone in the hospital. It was very scary to be sent home knowing that the system was under enormous pressure and that I would need follow-up care. She called me within hours of my release. She listened to me and immediately set a plan in motion to get access to all the additional care supports I would need. She quarterbacked my care with multiple specialists over the next year. She has made space for me and given me so much care and empathy. I am so very grateful to have her as our family doctor.
