Family Doctor: Dr. Kathy Johns

Since moving to Calgary in 2005, Dr. Kathy Johns has been there for me as my family physician. She is a teacher who always welcomes students, residents, and nurse practitioners to her practice. She is a caregiver who accepted my partner into her practice when he lost his family physician. She is a trailblazer who has pivoted the scope and location of her practice based on the needs of her patients and herself. She is an inspiration who inspired and helped me to prepare for entrance into medical school as a second career. Thank you, Dr. Kathy Johns, for who you are and all that you do!
