Family Doctor: Sumeet Bhatia

My name is Laura Rutherford living on a LTC unit at AgeCare Skypointe. Dr. Bhatia has been caring for me since August 2018 when I was admitted to AgeCare Skypointe. Being a quadriplegic and living with Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS), I have had to deal with multiple medical issues over the years. Having a healthcare background, we have built a wonderful rapport as he comes weekly and we talk about an issue and figure out our options.

Dr Bhatia has been a wonderful supporter, encourager, and advocate for me these last seven years. It has meant so much to me. My journey with GBS would look different if I hadn’t have Dr Bhatia in my life giving care. Thank you Dr. Bhatia for always being there for me. In addition, thank you for your kindness and friendship, too.
