Dr. Vicki Penney – An Unbelievable Professional

Family Doctor: Vicki Penney

I went to the South Calgary Medical Clinic as a walk-in patient. I was fortunate to have been assigned to Dr. Vicki Penney. After a thorough examination, Dr. Penney suggested some follow-up tests to assist in diagnosis. After each of a series of tests, Dr. Penney followed up within a day to consider future action, including having discussions with specialists and arranging appointments on short notice. This resulted in a diagnosis and treatment that without her may not have occurred (or at least not on a timeline anything close to what occurred). While Dr. Penney has a busy practice, it was a result of her diligence and professionalism that I was able to obtain a diagnosis and commence treatment. She truly has renewed (or maybe created) some faith on my part in the health care system.
